Debito, Luca, and Pace have been friends since childhood and they all share a hatred for Jolly.
Jolly goes over Elmo's growth in knowledge, and Elmo asks Jolly if he can go with him to the city. Later, Felicitá asks Luca about the child, and Luca denies that Jolly has a child since Jolly does not dote on children. Then, he talks about the tea and what Jolly show him when he was a child. In an eatery somewhere, Debito tells Pace that his head has been hurting every night, and he bids Pace farewell to sleep off the pain. At the Arcana Famiglia's manor, Liberta shows up with Elmo, and Elmo is glad to see Felicitá. Jolly appears and explains that Elmo is not his illegitimate child. He asks Felicitá to deliver a letter to Debito. On the streets, Pace and Luca talk about Debito's condition. In a flashback, Debito shares a scary tale about a child who met Diavolo, and his soul split into two. Debito suffers a nightmare, and he sees Felicitá. Debito grabs and throws Felicitá on the bed. Before he could do anything, Felicitá hands him the letter. Debito gets mad and talks about his right eye. He politely tells Felicitá to exit his room.
In Jolly's study, Pace asks Jolly to be more considerate in his research on Arcana Powers. Felicitá appears and asks Pace if anything happen between Luca, Jolly, and Debito. Pace reassures her. Felicitá go to Nova and asks him about Jolly. Nova goes over how Jolly went into his family's troubles, and he agrees with Felicita to some extent. Libertà appears and asks them to help him clean the church. Dante and Libertà go to another section of the church to help out while Felicitá and Nova work together. Inside the church, Debito and Luca clean up the insides. As usual, Debito complains, but Pace and Luca explain that the church took care of them. Nova struggles to clean a window because he is short. Libertà helps him, yet Nova gets mad and chases Liberta. The three find their initials inscribed into the wall, and when Felicitá asks them, Luca shares how they live at the church with Pace's mother. Pace asks Luca to play hide and seek. Jolly appears and states that he is going to check up on them. He states that he inserted the amethyst in Debito's right eye to control his Arcana Powers, and he is in charge of adding the stigmata to Pace, Luca, and Debito. Debito points a gun at Jolly, but he could not fire the gun. Jolly pulls Debito's hair and talks ill about Debito's willpower. Pace decides to make a stance since he cannot stand by idly when his friends are getting hurt, and he delivers a punch with his Arcana Powers. He is able to break through Jolly's shield. Jolly is not faze, and he walks away.
Later, Felicitá tells Nova and Libertà that Jolly is not a bad person, and the three go to Jolly's laboratory where they find Elmo in a tube. Jolly states that Elmo is a homunculus.
