Yeah.. I bet she wouldn't have allowed Minato to seal the nine tails fox in the kid.

I bet Minato was just heartbroken and other than protecting the village he was just grieving and said "to heck with it! Goodbye cruel world!"  :P

That's known as the truth that she died giving birth to Naruto. When the Nine-tailed fox attacked I say she was going into labor, and Minato used that demon technique (that the 3rd used during the fight with Orochimaru). Using that attack killed him, and when he sealed the fox into the baby inside Kushina when she gave birth to the baby it killed her.

The same thing happend to Gaara's mother.
