Kou Fumizuki is the mangaka behind Ai Yori Aoshi.

Kou Fumizuki is a mangaka best known for creating the popular shounen romance series Ai Yori Aoshi. More recently he's been working on a manga titled Umi no Misaki, which is being published in the shounen mangabon Young Animal.

Fumizuki debuted in 1995 with the manga Suki to Iwanai (I Won't Say I Like You). He followed it up with 1996's Shoujo Hatsunetsu (Girl Fever), 1997's Kimi ni Daete (Meeting You), and 1998's Koisuru Houteishiki (Formula for Falling in Love) before creating 1999's Ai Yori Aoshi, which ran until 2005. Umi no Misaki began in 2007.
