After being accused of being the main cause of another student's attempt at suicide, Highschooler, Mori Buntarou transfer school to escape persecution from other classmate. Once at his new school, Mori immediately starts to alienate himself from his other classmates. He does this until another student, Miyamoto, challenge him to a climbing contest. If Mori succeeds Miyamoto will leave him alone, wanting to truly be alone Mori takes him up on his challenge. When climbing, Mori begins to feel alive. This begins his long road of climbing the highest peaks to feel alive.
