Basically, a relatively small voice actor thought he had obtained his dream breaking out role as an anime original character in this series. The whole audition was set up and faked, a fact which wasn't revealed to the actor until he was on stage at a special event where his audition tape was spliced up and edited while the staff laughed at him.
They handed him off a menial job, Publicity/Promotional Chief, where they basically humiliated him and played punishment games if he didn't meet targets.
News only surfaced recently, but preorders have quickly been cancelled and showings of the anime on nico nico recieved a 65% bad rating with 2ch taking to twitter and other sites to rage at all those involved.
It's a pretty horrible situation, I feel terrible for the guy. What do you guys think?
