Musashi comes to his old home in a tiny remote village to stay with his grandmother for summer vacation. He's been away for fifteen years and has very few remembrances of childhood, but on the way he recalls vague memories of a strange, intensely emotional game-ritual when he and four local girls pricked their skin and tasted each other's blood. Once he gets to the village, hot local cuties Nami, Anzu, Suzaku, and Mayuki remember him very well, and their intentions toward him are anything but childish. As he sleeps his way back through his lost memories, a story from his childhood unfolds. He actually promised to marry all four girls, who are not really girls at all but nature spirits, whose father is a dragon and whose love for Musashi almost caused the end of their world last time he left, when the grief of Nami the snow princess caused the entire region to ice up. Love Hina meets Crimson Climax, although at the softer end of the scale-despite being billed as a production by KSS's erotic label Pink Pineapple, many crewmembers have retained their real names, including designer Watanabe, who worked on Tenchi Muyo!. A sequel, More Koihime (Zoku Koihime), followed in 2001. N
