Kogoro Mouri is seen in Case Closed. It is the Japanese name of Richard Moore.
Kogoro Mouri (or Richard Moore as the English dubbed call him) is a self-centered ex-cop that decided to become a detective after leaving the force. The Father of Ran Mouri he does show that he cares for her in his own way, though she is always forced to clean up after him.
He didn't solve many cases until Conan (a.k.a Jimmy) showed up and has been becoming the 'dummy' for Conan to speak though. Thoughout Case Closed (Detective Conan) he becomes the comedy relief as the 'dutty old detective' though he does have his smart moments. He seems to be very jealous of Jimmy and seems to be one of the very few people happy that hes gone, though he would probably be mad if he found out Jimmy was actually solving his cases for him. He is also still in love with his ex-wife even though he tries to keep it a secret.
