A mangaka known for her cute style and bizarre sense of humor.
Koge-Donbo, nee Kokoro Koharu, is a popular mangaka known for her incredibly cute style and occasionally bizarre sense of humor.
Koge-Donbo's most popular series to date is Di Gi Charat, a surreal shounen comedy series featuring a group of insanely cute mascot characters that began in 1998 and is still technically ongoing, though there are only four volumes to date.
Other works include Pita Ten, about a clumsy angel-in-training who comes to earth to learn about humans so that she can become a full-fledged angel; Kamichama Karin, a magical-girl(-and-boy) series series with a sequel series called Kamichama Karin Chu; Yoki Koto Kiku, a dark comedy set in pre-WWII Japan that pits three siblings against each other and their would-be sister-in-law for a vast inheritance; and Kon Kon Kokon, about a boy with a secret obsession with obake (Japanese demons). Kon Kon Kokon actually exists in the same world setting as Kamichama Karin, with the main character Ren interacting regularly with Kamichama Karin's characters.
