They are the protectors of the Rave when they are dead. In their past lives, they were Resha's protectors as well.
Overview
In Shiba's flashback, they serve Resha and guard her when she is completing the ritual to create the Rave. When Resha dies, they are under Shiba's orders. During the war, all the knights died except Shiba and Plue.
