Scanty & Kneesocks

Kneesocks (ニーソクズ, Nīsokusu) and Scanty are the daughters of Mr. Mayor, Corset; and are sent by him to eliminate Panty and Stocking. As a demon, she has command of many of the ghosts that are sent after the Anarchy Sisters, even using a special potion to make ghosts. They share many similarities with the duo such as powers, an off-road vehicle, guns, bladed weapons, sidekicks and a transformation sequence.

Creation

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (2010)

Kneesocks was created for the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime series that was produced by Gainax, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, and it originally began airing on October 1, 2010. She and the rest of the cast were designed by Atsushi Nishigori.

She first appeared in Panty & Stocking - Episode 6 "Les Diaboliques", and became one of the few reoccurring villains of the series. She was voiced by the Japanese voice actress Ayumi Fujimura, and the U.S. dub produced by FUNimation is done by Cherami Leigh.

Kneesocks is the younger of the Demon sisters. She wears angular glasses and has her long, light-blue hair in a ponytail. She uses a large amount of English in her speech, even by the standards of the show.

Similar to the character Stocking, she uses her leggings to make a pair of scythes known as Double Gold Spandex. Just like her sister, Scanty, she is obsessed with rules, claiming that they will solve the chaos of freedom. Compared to Scanty, however, Kneesocks is calmer and more reserved, but she tends to fly off the handle when the rules are being disparaged. Oddly, she blushes quite easily, causing her face to become a lighter shade of red.

While Panty and Stocking are away on missions, the two sisters become the new queens of the school and use their influence to a series of strict rules on the student body aimed and creating strict order and normality. When Panty and Stocking return, the two side clash and an epic battle ensues.

The Stripping

Scanty & Kneesocks creating a Money Ghost

Panty and Stocking suddenly appeared in the casino that Kneessocks and Scanty were running in order to make some fast money. The Demon sisters were using the greed of humanity to feed their latest ghost. Money Ghost. The plan was to use the ghost to create an economic crisis to destroy humanity. They took this opportunity to try and humiliate the angels in front of the huge crowds as revenge for their earlier interference. Kneesocks took over the roulette wheel and caused the angels to lose so much of their earning they were selling their clothes to the lechers in the crowd for more. Unfortunately for Kneesocks, Panty's sneezing caused the ball to shift and their last effort won them all of the money out of the casino and from their Money Ghost.

Kneesocks & Scanty in Romero & Carpen Town

Scanty and Kneesocks next plot against Panty and Stocking took place in Romero & Carpen Town. They were using their Instant Ghost formula to raise the dead from their graves. Kneesocks watched with her sister from the graveyard as the angels fought to survive the zombie hordes, but those zombies turned against them.

One Angry Ghost

Kneesocks disguised as Tom Croose.

Masquerading as the ace lawyer Tom Croose, Kneesocks and Scanty devised a plan to frame Panty and Stocking for the murder of Mr. Husband Petter. However, the defense lawyer, Mr. Abrams, was able to get angels acquitted and expose Tom Croose's real identity.

If the Angels Wore Swimsuits

Kneesocks & Scanty own the beach

For the summer, Kneesocks ans Scanty paid for the use of Daten Beach at five times it's estimated value for their vacation. The Anarchy Sisters arrived and were demanded to leave. To settle the matter, they pairs had a doubles beach volleyball game. The wager became whoever lost would have to strip naked on the beach for everyone to watch. After some cheating, the angels looked to be winning until Kneesocks and Scanty stopped holding back their full power. The demon sisters still lost after the intense battle. Rather than own up to the bet, they threw their instant ghost formula into the ocean and left, but Scanty lost her temper and hot the self destruct on their limo.

InnerBrief

Kneesocks and Scanty had managed to trick Panty and Stocking into drinking a drug that shrank them down to an incredibly small size. In the chaos, they were accidentally swallowed by Brief, but still managed to return to normal size since the drug wears off after a few minutes.
