The mangaka behind the popular series Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba&!.

Kiyohiko Azuma is the mangaka behind two extremely popular series: the gag manga Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba&!.

Azuma graduated from the Kobe Design University and quickly established himself as a mangaka with his unique style. He created adult works like Inma no Ranbu (under his pen name, Joujo Jonokuchi, which he also uses for creating adult doujinshi). He hit it big with the gag manga Azumanga Daioh, which was developed into an anime that remains popular to this day. He followed it up with Yotsuba&!, his current manga, although the series has seen some difficulty with its American release due to the financial difficulties of its licensor, ADV.
