Kisa Sohma

Kisa Sohma is cursed with the tiger from the Chinese Zodiac. She doesn't appear until later in the series, but when she does appear, she is very quiet and closed minded to everyone, even her mother who worries about her dearly. She has had trouble in school when it comes to people not liking her for the way she looks. She then suddenly grew a complex and became quiet and not her self for awhile; she even left school because of people were mistreating her. Later in the series, KIsa meets Tohru and greets her with a bite to the hand. Although it was a painful confrontation, Tohru did not give up on finding out why she wouldn't speak. Tohru then figured out what was making her this way and comforted her in the situation. After this painful confrontation Kisa opened up to Tohru and grew attached to her. Then, she slowly started to open up to other people.
