In the same manner that Kingdom Hears Re:Chain of Memories brought Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories from the Game Boy Advance to the Play Station 2 platform, KH Re:Coded is a remake of the NTT DoCoMo game for Nintendo DS in English.
During E3 2010 a trailer of the game was shown which today was made available to watch on the internet.
The plot of this game is based on the events that take place after KH2 following the story of Jiminy Cricket, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy as they uncover a mystery found in the Jiminy's journal. Jiminy's curiosity about the line "Thank Naminé" in his journal results in him finding a message that he did not write: "Their hurting will be mended when you return to end it".
By recreating a Sora clone out of data, they must figure out what the entry in the journal meant, which then means they must retrace their steps into uncovering this mystery in 8 different chapters of similar gameplay to that of the KH 358/2 Days game.
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded will be released in North America, Europe and Japan on the Nintendo DS by the end of this year.
So what do you think?
Will you continue to see what's in store for the KH franchise?
