Fan Art: Older Sora

Can you guess who my favorite video game character is? I’ll give you a hint, look at my user name!

I found this amazing piece of art on DeviantArt by Sajira called “Older Sora” [link]. The thing I liked the most was the costume redesign made to this already cool character (Right). I decided to use the design and draw Sora too.

I used a different anime style that resembles the Digimon franchise too make the character a lot cartoonier. I wanted to share this with you guys and also tell you that I have decided that I like this incarnation of Sora’s outfit that I decided to cosplay it someday. I got the original artist’s permission… I just need to learn how to do it!

Looks nice! Good luck on making the perfect cosplay costume of Sora. I remember you posing with a replica key blade in your cosplay photos. You still have that right? No costume of Sora would be complete without a key. It's like a keystone to Sora's character. (Yeah, a bad pun)

By the way, my team is working on your favorite franchise, Sket Dance. We even have a name for our team because I was inspired by the acronym of Sket Dance. Check out our team blog.

Well it looks like you need blue pants, and green army pants. Cut the crotch out of the green pants, put some yellow faberic over the pockets on the green pants, get a long sleeve green shirt, and then either work off of a old red vest, or make it yourself (red vests like that are really easy). :P

@takashichea: Thanks! That keyblade replica wasn't mine but a friend of mine who does wood shop made me one. I just need to go pick it up. I just skimmed the Sket Dance Wiki Project. That is awesome!! Which reminds me that I'm a little behind on my anime watching! I know you'll do an awesome job on the wiki! (I especially liked the WIKI acronym)

Edit: A bit late, but Superevil225 beat me.

It's all about teamwork for Sket Dan project. When I read your review on Sket Dance, did you ever get that Bossun's hat?

Now I think about it, Bossun and the drawing do resemble digimon.

@takashichea: Yeah! Go Sket Dan... A friend ofmine is going to makeme the hat. I think you're right it seems like Sket Dance resembles Digimon in a lotof ways, which is probably why I like it so much. I need to get that HAT!
