I don't know if you guys know this, but I like to draw. A lot.
So the other day while I was on my way to Anime Conji last week I decided that it would be appropriate for me to draw something anime related. Problem was that my style i not much of an anime-type but more comic book-y. Then I remember that someone once called my drawings Disney-like, so I though I could start from there.

Here's what I came up with:

Kingdom Hearts Meets The Little Mermaid
Kingdom Hearts Meets The Little Mermaid
Tell me what you think!

Cool....I can see this fully colored and with a little extra work, could be a epic image.

@sora_thekey:  Yeah...coloring isn't my thing either (I mess things up when I color)....perhaps FoxxFireArt could do the same picture in his own artstyle and in color? xD

@ShadowKnight508: I think... no, I know that Foxx could do an amazing job with something like this!

@sora_thekey:  I don't get it. The stalactites on the upper right hand corner imply that the characters are in a cave or cavern of some sort. However there is a full moon seen on the upper left corner of the picture. How can you be in a cave and have a clear view of the moon at the same time? then there's this rock island with people on it. How did they get there? Your art lack continuity and place. Also I'm going to assume that the characters are in a regular row boat correct? The male's hand placement hand placement implies that he is rowing backwards not forwards. You are the one to determine whether or not that is what you intended.

@zombiepie: What you see in the upper right hand corner is the falling (and uncompleted) leaves of a type of tree that grows by water. I couldn't tell you the name of it since I don't know anything about the tree, I just know it was in the movie.
The "rock island" was a comedy relief addition. The characters on top are Donald and Goofy. If you played Kingdom Hearts then you know they got there by swimming since Donald becomes an octopus and Goofy a sea turtle in this world.
The rowing I didn't plan. I don't know if he should row backwards or forward, but I don't see why that should matter.

Your art lack continuity and place.

It's not supposed to be a story... It's something I made while I was bored and needed to occupy my time.

@sora_thekey:  I looked far and wide to find an In Living Color montage of the "Men on..." sketch with them saying "Hated It!" Alas I could not find any such video clip and my parody failed. So I'm left with a YouTube clip of The Critic...gross I know:

@zombiepie: It's funny how you unintentionally apologize for saying you don't like my drawing the wrong way... XD

@sora_thekey:  I try my best to be a good " Bitter Bierce" whenever it seems appropriate.

As a notary public I'm qualified to appraise art you know. I appraise you art at around...a pack of menthol cigarettes and a bottle of gin. So around $13.87 at your local brown bag liquor store.
