He was a shinobi from the Village Hidden by Sound and a member of Team Guren. His main ability was the manipulation of gases to blind the enemy.
Kigiri is the more laid-back member of the group. Also, he addressed Rinji as "Aniki", this means "Brother" on occasion.
Kigiri's main battle tactics are based on his ability to manipulate gases. He is able to vent out and discharge a powerful and blinding smokescreen, he then uses it to wrap and bind his opponent. He is also able to create a solid clone out of smoke to help him out during the battle. When he was fighting with Kakashi, he used a fire technique that launches several blasts of fire at the opponent. He was later given a Cursed Seal, it increased his chakra and raw power, but if he does not take a pill after a certain amount of time, the seal would kill him by tearing him inside out. This was done by Kabuto.
