Kidomaru

Origin

He is a Ninja from the Hidden Sound Village, bodyguard of Orochimaru and member of the Sound Four together with Sakon, Tayuya and Jirobo. In the past he worked together with Kimimaro in a group called the Sound Five, which later became the current Sound Four after Kimimaro contracted a rare disease and could no longer continue to be the leader of the team.

Creation

kidomaru is a character from the anime/manga series Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto.

Tayuya first appeared in Naruto Volume 13, CH. 115 "The Chunin Exam, Concluded...!!!", and his first anime appearance was in Naruto - Episode 68 "Zero Hour! The Destruction of the Hidden Leaf Village Begins!". His character in the Japanese series is voiced by Susumu Chiba and his english voice actor is Peter Lurie.

Major Story Arcs

Invasion of Konoha Arc (68-80)

During this arc, Kidomaru and the Sound 4 created an energy barrier to prevent anyone from interrupting the battle between his master Orochimaru and the third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi. When the battle ended and Orochimaru has been sealed, he helped Orochimaru to escape from the Hidden Leaf Village with out further injuries.

Sasuke Retrieval Arc (107-135)

Kidomaru prepares to attack Naruto's clones with his golden harden metal.

The Sound Four lead Sasuke when he decided to join Orochimaru. Later the Sasuke Retrieval Team found the Sound Four after leaving Choji behind to deal with Jirobo, Kidomaru allowed his team mates to go ahead of him while he caught and plaed with the ninja that where pursuing them. Naruto could use shadow clones, so Kidomaru decided to kill him first. Kidomaru slowly killed the clones in order to find the real one, but they all turned out to be shadow clones, the real Naruto then attacked Kidomaru from behind. But he dodged and caught Naruto and tried to kill him. Neji came to his rescue and freed him even though he has already freed everyone else from Kidomaru's webbing using his Gentle Fist. Neji began fighting Kidomaru after the others had gone ahead.

Neji told him he couldn't let down his friends while also telling him that he was the strongest opponent he had ever fought, after defeating him in battle.

Powers and Abilities

Orochimaru stated that, Kidomaru was Sounds 4's most intellectual member.This was witnessed with his fierce battle style and strategies. Like the rest of the Sound Four, Kidomaru was skilled with creating barriers and seals.

His Unique Body

He had a unique body structure. He had two extra pairs of arms, this gave him a total of eight limbs, relating to his spider theme. With these extra arms it gave him a good variety into his attacks. He could hold mutalple tools at one time, he could form several hand seals at one time. He also had a third eye, usually hid behind his forehead protector, But in a serious battle he would reveal the eye. This increased his perception and accuracy by a large amount, allowing him to attack his enemy's vital points with his arrow.
