Michelle finds a blank book that is titled, To My Daughter. Lucy summons Crux to find out any information on the book. He suggests that the title might be an anagram. Moments later, Natsu stumbles upon the group trying to decipher the anagram. Suddenly, Natsu sneezes, and Erza attacks Natsu. Then, Carla finds the letters made up the word, "Myth." The group piece together a phrase: "Duo Great Myth." Lucy realizes that this points to two books referred as "The Two Great Myths." The first book is Life of the Clockwork while the other is Key of the Starry Heavens. The others think there's a hint in the book, and Carla gets a creepy vision of a girl. Behind Lucy, Happy holds a book about the Tortoise and the Hare. Then, the door breaks, and Samuel the Exceed appears and demands Lucy's group to hand over the book. Samuel state that he knew that Lucy's group will come here and find the clue. Erza, Gray, and Natsu attack Samuel only to get their attacks bounced off Dan's shield. Lucy yells at them to be careful. After Dan explains how his shield works, Natsu attacks with a close range Wing Slash attack only to get reflected back at himself. Lucy runs off when Samuel tells Dan to go after her.
