Ken Edmundo

Edmundo is a detective working for the police force in Judoh. He is a veteran cop who has been on the job too long and has a somewhat sour and tired demeanour. His partner Romeo is young and idealistic and this amuses Edmundo. Ken is initially irritated by the Special Unit and does not regard them as cops and finds them more of a nuisance to police investigations. He is especially annoyed by Daisuke and especially his age. In Edmundo's eyes Dice is just a kid playing cop. However as the series progresses and Dice manages to save Judoh from a few disasters Edmundo realises that Dice is actually quite a capable detective who has great instincts. Underneath all the bitterness and cynicism Edmundo is a good cop and a good man but like many on the police force he is prevented from doing any real good as the mafia have almost every police chief in their back pocket.
