The green onion aliens father, infuriated by his son's death quickly dispatches his son's killers narrowing the team down to kishimoto, kato and kurono. Kato tries reasoning with the monster, but realizing he can't jumps over the side of a hill. The green onion father spots kishimoto and kurono and gives chase. much to kurono's amazement the gantz suit allows for him to jump down a large stairway without harm. The Alien father rolls down the stairway still determined to catch kurono, kato attempts to save kei but in the process is fatally wounded by the green onion aliens claws. the anger kei felt at kato's death enabled him to use his gantz suit and defeat the green onion alien.
