Instead of riding the trapar waves, FUNimation brings you the stream of the new EUREKA 7 anime, and a preview of the latest sci-fi thriller movie.

PANTY & STOCKING cast news wasn't the only thing to come out of Saturday's Anime Central in Rosemont, Illinois. The U.S. anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment announced two more acquisitions. They include the recent sequel EUREKA 7 AO anime and feature film KING OF THORN. FUNimation will also begin an official stream of EUREKA 7 AO on their website starting this Spring.

Not to leave KING OF THORN out of the news, FUNimation also announced their English dub cast for this new movie. Manga Entertainment will be distributing this film in the United Kingdom, and Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand.

FUNimation Synopsis:

King of Thorn: Panic spreads worldwide as the Medousa Virus—a fatal pandemic that solidifies the body to stone—threatens to wipe out the human race. 160 infected individuals are selected to be cryogenically frozen while a cure is developed. Kasumi is one of those chosen for the experimental program. Forced to enter without her twin sister, Shizuku, her distress multiplies when she awakens to find the facility overrun with thick, thorny vines and ravenous monsters. As Kasumi and six others fight a losing battle to escape this labyrinthine nightmare, questions cloud her distorted mind. Where is her sister? Why did their only salvation mutate into a deathtrap? If they survive, how much longer do they have to live?

Along with the cast, FUNimation posted an interview with the film's director, Kazuyoshi Katayama; and a sneak peak at the film. I wouldn't suggest watching the last half of this video before bed.
