Teenage boy Hazumu Osaragi attempts to confess his feelings for his classmate Yasuna Kamiizumi, but is told that she isn't interested. This is because Yasuna suffers from a strange condition that finds her unable to "see" the faces of boys. Imagine, then, how lucky Hazumu must feel when he is killed that night by a crash-landing alien spaceship, only to be resurrected in the body of a girl. This is good news for his chances with Yasuna, who suddenly finds him/her much more attractive, but causes friction with his/her childhood friend Tomari, who harbored a secret heterosexual crush on him, and has trouble accepting the fact that genders have switched. As if one's teens were not confusing enough, this anime based on an idea by Satoru Akahori was also turned into a manga in Comic Dengeki Dai-oh magazine. The term "kashimashi" literally refers to a cacophony of female voices, and is written with a character that uses three "woman" radicals-a visual pun in this case, since one of the women is actually a man … sort of.
