Based on a manga series that was originally written and illustrated by Touya Mikanagi, the anime adaptation is directed by Eiji Suganuma and produced by Manglobe.
There are two main characters: Nai and Gareki. Nai is looking for a loved one with an abandoned bracelet for his only clue, and Gareki is a pickpocket. When the two meet each other in a mansion, they get set up as wanted criminals where they confront an organization called Circus.
