Karina

Origin

She is one of the younger generation of Mu which Soldier Blue saved before they were found and killed by Mother. When Jomy first shows up on the Mu mothership she takes a liking to him and is the first to show him kindness.

Story Arc

When Jomy decides to settle on Naska and wishes for new Mu children to be born the younger generation of Mu are scared of childbirth. Karina is the first to go along with Jomy's plan has bears a child with her husband Yui, she is the first to naturally conceive a child since mankind left Terra and established the SD system. Since the Mu are weak her childbirth is extremely painful and she sends her thoughts to the other Mu, thoughts of joy and fulfillment of having a child which encourages the others to have children. She names her new baby boy Tony.

When Keith comes to Naska and is captured Jomy asks for Karina and Tony to go to Shangri La with him to show what they have accomplished and plea for peace. Karina and Tony are both terrified by Keith's cold machine-like demeanor. Karina notices that Tony has gone missing after they left Keith and is worried when there is an explosion in the ship. Terrified for the safety of her child she goes to the where the explosion occurred and finds Tony's pendant. She realizes that Tony has been killed and looses control of her emotions and her powers. Jomy comes to aid Karina but it is already too late, she has emitted all of her energy and falls lifeless to the floor
