Kaoru Tanamachi Arc Chapter 3: Betrayal
After witnessing her mother being with another man, Kaoru goes missing. At school, Junichi notices her absence and decides to investigate her disappearance. He gets a tip from Kaoru's friend who tried calling her last night. Upon hearing that she had not returned home yet , Junichi sets off to find her.
He eventually spots her at a cafe working her usual part-time job. After getting off her shift, she tells Junichi about the problems she and her mother are having.
