Word from Anime on DVD's Chris Beveridge, who has gotten a look at Media Blasters' April solicitations, has trickled out word that the company will be releasing Kanokon this April, under the title Kanokon - The Girl Who Cried Fox, volume one of which would consist of four episodes.
Like so much news today, it seems, this is officially unconfirmed (I've got a message out to a contact at MB, and I'll update here if I get confirmation, or probably do a new post if I get a denial), but Beveridge has been doing this for a very, very long time, so I'd be surprised if it was outright incorrect. (That Kanokon was mentioned in a document sent to AoD specifically for them to post about also makes me feel pretty firm on this one.)
Besides, it's not at all a stretch for Media Blasters to release something as naughty as Kanokon. For those of you who missed out, the basic line of the story is that a young (VERY young-seeming) boy winds up attached to a very hot, very clingy, and very hot-to-trot fox-demoness named Chizuru. The anime is based on the light novel series by Katsumi Nishino and illustrated by Koin, and aired on AT-X back in spring 2008.
The show was enough of a success to result in an announced second season, so if you're into buxom lasses who mercilessly molest young boys, well...you're set for April. Probably.
