Based on the manga of mangaka Kaishaku, Kannazuki no Miko tells the story of Himeko and Chikane, the two priestesses of the Sun and the Moon, and how their love without boundaries is the only force that can save the earth from the threat of Orochi, an evil God.
The story
The Story Kannazuki no Miko is the events that occur at Mahoroba, a village where life simple and quiet, and the days will follow a more or less the same. The daily life of the countryside is broken only by the chatter of the boys and girls who go in the morning, the village school. Two Japanese schoolgirls become the priestesses of the Sun and the Moon in a battle against ancient evils. Chikane is classy and aloof, while her friend Himeko is chattier and friendlier-a reprise of the odd couple pairings of innumerable buddy movies all over the globe, but most notably You're Under Arrest in recent times. Based on a manga serialized in Shonen Ace, which was created by Kaishaku, the pseudonymous creator of UFO Princess Valkyrie. Note that some Japanese sources wrote the title as Kannaduki no Miko, using an unorthodox romanization that has survived into some Western sources and fan discussions.Credits
