I have been informed by Bandai Entertainment that this wasn't an official announcement of any actual event in the works, but rather Yamakan's own desire for such an event to happen. I repeat, nothing is currently being planned. But feel free to continue speculating in the comments about how Bandai should put on any such event if it DID happen-- I'm sure they (and other US companies) would be interested in your thoughts!

I think they'd be better off with some kind of internet-based thing. Anime Jungle is cool for the LA-based fans, but leaves everyone else out.
