Kanade Sakurai

Kanade Sakurai is the younger of the twin sisters that are followed in the series Candy Boy. Kanade is a student of the arts, particularly drawing and painting, as such several instances of her work can be found scattered throughout the episodes of the show.

She is a relatively caring individual who has a large amount of love for both of her sisters, although sometimes she has a hard time expressing her emotions. She depends on her sister Yukino for emotional support throughout her life, as is to be expected of people who have a romantic relationship.

Kanade is sometimes prone to overeating to certain things that happen, especially when it comes to criticizing herself for not being independent enough. Kanade has a playful relationship with her younger peer Sakuya, who repeatedly makes attempts to obtain romantic relations with Kanade.

Kanade is forgetful, and often has to have Yukino remind her of things or she would completely forget about them. Kanade plays the role of the more serious member of the relationship, often times disciplining Yukino (In a play/violent manner) when she does things that Kanade finds unacceptable, or as she calls it “foul play”.

Kanade's romantic match is Yukino Sakurai, her sister and self-proclaimed “lover”.
