Naota's Immature Father
Kamon is Naota's father who is a freelance reporter and former pop culture journalist. Like many of the adults in Furi Kuri, Kamon is quite immature as he makes advances towards Haruko when she moves into the Nandaba house and becomes jealous of his son's growing affections towards the alien woman. He was responsible for publishing the scandalous magazine that revealed the mayor of Mabase's affair. Haruko made a failed attempt to use Kamon's head as an NO channel and left him for dead until Naota brought him back to life by hydrating his body in a bathtub. Despite his immaturity, Kamon shows signs of thoughtfulness and seriousness at some points of the series.
