Kalen Berg, who is created by Hiro Mashima, has no current information on what inspires the author to create him. He first appears in Rave Master episode 26. His Japanese voice actor is Masashi Yabe, and his English actor is Michael Sorich.

Journey to Lucas (Lyrics) Continent Arc

While the Big Butt bandits try to set up the bomb, Haru and his dog, Plue, show up at the wrong place and at the wrong time. Once Plue sits on the bomb's button, Kalen and Maruko try to get Plue off without setting the bomb while Wonderful Gocche distracts Haru with his life story. Yet, their efforts are in vain, so Wonderful Gocche tells Haru to play Hide and Go seek while they hide. Kalen and the gang rush to rob the vault. Along the way, they slam the door on Musica which Musica thrashes them. Then Kalen and the gang barges into Elie's room when she is dressing. Elie fires at them with her tonfas. Eventually, Kalen and his gang are corner by Musica and Elie until the bandits jump off the train.

Symphonia Arc

He and his gang reappear on Ruby's ship. At first they want to rob the ship, but they meet some rich ladies who dig their big booties. Kalen hears his boss's plan about marrying the women to steal their money. Before that happens, Kalen and the gang find Plue again, and Wondeful Gocche hugs Plue and apologizes to him. Yet, their plans fail when the ladies dump Kalen and his friends for Plue's ultimate cuteness. The gang decides to rob the place by shooting everyone with machine guns until Lilith scares them. Eventually, Kalen and the gang bump into Haru and Elie. After Wonderful Gocche attacks Elie with farts, Kalen does the same thing to Haru which angers Wonderful Gocche. Upon hearing Ruby's story and cry for help, Kalen and the big butt bandits fire their triple gas attack at Franken Billy. However, their attack floods the ship with their horrible stench.
