Kageroza Inaba

Origin

To escape persecution from the Gotei 13 and prevent the destruction of his research related to Project Spearhead and Reigai, Ouko Yushima split his soul into two separate entities: Kageroza Inaba and Nozomi Kujo. After doing so, Ouko became a soulless shell while Kageroza and Nozomi integrated themselves into Soul Society, allowing Kageroza to become the 7th seat of the 12th Division of the Gotei 13 and head of the Precipice World Research Section of the Scientific Research and Development Institute.

Creation

Kageroza is a supporting character from the anime series BLEACH, created by Tite Kubo. He is the primary villain of the Reigai Invasion arc. He is an anime-only character who first appeared in BLEACH Episode 317 "Unusual Incident in Seireitei?! Gotei 13 Invading Army Arc!" His character in the Japanese series is voiced by Toshio Furukawa.

Powers and Abilities

Abilities

Kageroza is highly intelligent as shown by his creation of Reigai, the integration of his Precipice World findings into armed combat, and his ability to analyze attacks immediately upon seeing them. Kageroza is also highly proficient at Zanjutsu as displayed in his battle against Ichigo Kurosaki in which he was able to defeat a hollowfied Ichigo solely using that method of combat. He is also proficient with Shunpo as seen in his battle against Uryuu in which he was able to easily dodge a full barrage of arrows. While he hasn't revealed the full extent of his Kido abilities, he has successfully used midlevel techniques without an incantation, suggesting that he has at some skill with Kido.

Zanpakuto

Kageroza's Zanpakuto is named Raiku (雷矩) which can be translated as Lightning Ruler in English. Sealed Form Raiku's sealed form This form of Raiku resembles a walking cane and does not appear to have a bladed edge of any kind.

Shikai Raiku's Shikai form Raiku's Shikai form is triggered with the phrase, "Go Mad". Its physical appearance is that of a double-bladed staff with an ornate asymmetric blade attached to each end. Raiku's primary ability is that of space manipulation. Event Recording - when rotated clockwise, Raiku can record any event that happens within the circumference of its rotation. When rotated counter-clockwise, it can playback any event that happens within the circumference of its rotation. These event can be projectiles, Zanpakuto abilties, or even a shinigami attacking. Portal Creation - another rotation based power of Raiku allows Kageroza to create portals that he can travel through or send opponents through. He used this method to teleport Ichigo to the Precipice World during their battle in Soul Society and to escape from the captains in Karakura Town during his kidnapping attempt of Nozomi Kujo

Bankai Raiku's Bankai form has yet to be revealed.
