K-On!!

Overview

Back in December of 2009 at the live "Let's Go!" concert in Yokohama, it was announced that a second season of everyone's favorite high schoolers would be back for another season. In February of 2010 it was reported that the seconded season would air in April and at the time of this writing could be about 13-25 episodes.

	Yui Hirasawa (平沢 唯 Hirasawa Yui) Voiced by: Aki Toyosaki Stephanie Sheh Role: Lead Guitar, Main Vocals Gender: Female
	The main character. Since initially knowing how to play no instruments at all, Yui has become a decent guitar player. What hasn't changed though, is her clumsy, laid back personality and her love of cakes and tea! She has grown very fond of Azusa since she joined the light music club, often hugging her without warning.

Music

Go Go Maniac is the opening theme written by Sachiko Oomori and performed by Aki Toyosaki (Yui) and the rest of the band. It`s style is similar to Gitah Ni Kubittake one of Yui`s character songs and takes advantage of her unique singing voice and style. Listen!! is the ending theme and is also written by Sachiko Oomori and performed by Yoko Hikasa (Mio) it features an 80`s style and a giant cake! The singles of Go Go Maniac and Listen!! were released on April 28 2010 and debuted at #1 and #2 on the Oricon singles chart and sold over 83,000 and 76,000 copies.
