This series is a fun ride but not quite as fun as Lucky Star.  It has some interesting animation done by Kyoto Animation, but never really wows me.

The story line is very similar to Lucky Star in how its told with less of a story arc and more like a series of 4-panel comics strung together to make a series of sometimes random events. It starts out with two of the main girls wanting to start a club/band in order to fulfill one of the girl's delusions.  A third girl is added but the club still needs a 4th or else the club will be abolished. This is the point when our protagonist, Yui Hirasawa, comes into the mix.

Really from here there is no main objective other than to play some music and have a fun time with each other.  Down the road, more friendships show up, the teacher has a bigger role in the club and even another member is added.

Over all this series was quite fun.  I really can't recommend that anyone watches is, but I can't tell you to avoid it either.  Its cute to the point of being overly cute, and like Gia said can be almost retarded.  If slice-of-life stories are your thing, I say go for it,  just let loose and have fun.

Oh and the music, even if it is super kawaii, is pretty good.
