A young woman with a firm belief in upholding old-fashioned justice and is the successor to a famous clan of ninjas.
A determined and prudish girl, Junko Hattori is the first girl from the Academy of Magical Arts that the protagonist encounters, and she misunderstands Akuto offering to help her grandmother carry her belongings as him mugging her, attacking him on sight. After the situation being explained to her, however, she takes a liking to his selfless ideas of improving the condition of the world and makes a friendship pact with him, vowing to help him in any way she can.
Later, when she discovers Akuto's future as a Demon Lord, as predicted by Yatagarasu, she considers this a "betrayal" of her trust and makes continued attacks at him to stop him from doing the bad deeds she assumes him to be doing, but is still shown to have some feelings for him and has to force herself to be angry at him.
Akuto frequently tries to diffuse the situation but his words are often misunderstood due to the fact Junko is very easily embarrassed and he words things awkwardly, which only makes the situation worse and causes other students to assume their relationship is that of the romantic and sexual nature. This only annoys Junko further, but she finally gives up her assaults after the student body refuse to fight with her because they think it's merely a lovers' quarrel.
Despite all of this, Junko still accompanies Akuto on most of his adventures and even accepts an arranged marriage proposal that Korone organizes, which is interrupted by Keena's kidnapping.
Upon encouragement from her grandmother, she betrays her clan's ideals by assisting Akuto on his quest to destroy the Government, claiming she does this "in the name of the man I love!"
Akuto promises to "take care of her" when he returns from his mission.
