Normally I save JapanFiles' sweet music releases for the daily round-up, but the round-up is getting pretty full today, and in the meantime, this is really awesome news. JapanFiles has partnered with Spice Records to release albums from ORANGE RANGE and sodopp!

Now, I know a lot of you are familiar with ORANGE RANGE-- they've done themes for Code Geass, the Hana-Kimi drama, and of course, Bleach's first opening, the excessively awesome “Asterisk.” The albums JapanFiles is releasing are early, independent works, from before OR's move to Sony Music Japan: 2002's “Orange Ball” and “Michishirube / Midnight Gauge.”

I'm less familiar with sodopp, but I do know that the all-girl punk-trio has toured with the ever-popular Polysics, and have already had their US live debut as SXSW's official Japan Nite band in March of 2008. JapanFiles has their latest release, 2008's Lookin' Color 8, as well as the band's 2006 debut POP RIDER.

I listened to a track from the newer album on the group's MySpace page and it's pretty groovy, so be sure to check it out. All of these release are available right now.

I've been informed that there's a lot more news due from JapanFiles in the near future, so keep an eye out here for all the latest!
