Okay, I admit, my view is pretty skewed-- I live in an area where I can buy pocky at my grocery store for a couple of bucks if I so want (and Yan Yan, and rice candy, and all that good stuff). And by that I mean like, at Safeway, not at a specialty store. Though I do go to Fubonn and Uwajimaya for other, less-standard treats. (Yum.)
...But I guess for those of you for whom that is not true, or people who just like cooking, which I do, Japanator has spotted a recipe for home-made Pocky on Discovery.com. In spite of the relative ease with which I can find real Pocky, I'm kind of tempted to try it, because I love making sweets.
Hm, there's an idea-- video of me making Pocky. Would you be interested? If not, will any of you be trying this out at home?
