The Cup Noodle Dispenser

Nissin, makers of the original Cup Noodle instant ramen soups, is celebrating 28 years of pouring delicious sodium down your throat-- and you benefit! They're giving away 3000 free Cup Noodle vending machine to lucky winners, presumably in Japan and not in the United States, since entry appears to involve purchasing Nissin products. Which is sad. But it's really just a glorified hot water dispenser and 3-minute timer anyway-- as far as I can tell you have to provide your own soups.

I have to admit it's kind of fun to watch the little video demonstration. Unfortunately it makes me want to drive all the way across town to the awesome Japanese grocery store and buy a real Japanese Cup Noodle, 'cause they're way yummier than the American versions.

I'll be heading off to college soon. This would have been an AWESOME thing to have since I'll practically live off ramen...
