But then we get to the number two option. For men, it's “is my breath fresh?” (89.1%). Women's concerns are a bit more pressing, however...69.1% wanted to know “how do I breathe?” (the same question was #6 for men, 32.8%). Both sides also wondered what happens afterwards, and hoped that no one saw them.
Another interesting split: 35.8% of women wondered if they were really kissing the right guy, while only 15.6% of men wondered the same thing. Also, 12.5% of men thought that they'd wind up marrying the girl they kissed, while most women were more realistic-- only 4.9% were thinking marriage during that first pucker-up.
I personally plead the fifth on talking much about my first kiss, on the grounds that it may incriminate...well, someone, let's just put it that way. That should be enough for you to giggle about, anyway. As for what was going through my head, that would have been something like, “wow, I can't believe that line worked,” “hm, he tastes like Burgerville,” and “ack, it's time to cross the street to get back to the school.”
How about you guys? Have any kissing stories for us lonely otaku?
