Summary

An explanation of how did Lelouch lose his memories revealed.
 
It is revealed that in the end of season 1 where Lelouch and Suzaku are going to shoot at each other, the former's bullet hit the latter's earpiece while Lelouch dodges the hit. When he is about to fire his gun, Suzaku kicks Lelouch and pins hims down. Just as Kallen is going to help Lelouch, he puts her at gunpoint without looking at her and asks if she's going to help a man who uses her people as pawns for his uses. Shocked by this, Kallen runs away. Suzaku has arrested Lelouch.
 
He takes him to his father, the Emperor of the Holy Britannia Empire. Seeing Lelouch as a threat, he uses his Geass to erase his memories of his mother, Nunnally, and being Zero.
 
Lelouch is confronted by Kallen, who is now aware that he is Zero and his Geass power. He asks her which of these options offended her and she replies that it is both of them she's offended.
