Shuuzou Oshimi's sci-fimanga Hyouryuu Net Cafe (Drifting Net Cafe, not to be confused with Drifting Classroom) is being developed into a live-action TV drama starting in April, according to 2ch, who have a link to the official StarChild site that mentions drama..

The manga, whose first volume was just released in Japan today, revolves around a young man with a boring job and a boring wife who's boringly pregnant (leaving him stressed to begin with)...all he has is memories of the first girl he had a crush on in school. Then then he stumbles upon the Drifting Net Cafe, where he bumps into his lost love...Manga Action's site for the manga, which also offers the first chapter (in Japanese).

Oshimi is known for his darker works, like the supernatural drama Yuutai Nova and the dark ecchi seinen title Devil Ecstasy, although he also did a considerably less dark-looking seinen manga called Avant-Garde Yumeko.

I flipped through that first chapter preview (even if you don't read Japanese, it's pretty comprehensible just by picture, if you're interested). Given the first chapter and the cover, I'm pretty curious to see how this story developes.
