Plot Summary

Nanami notices Misaki is all cheered up, and when Misaki hands her the script that Jin wrote, Nanami asks to use it for her audition. In the morning, Sorata receives a call from his younger sister. During breakfast, Chihiro tells Sorata not to try too hard. Over at Suiko, Sorata asks Jin if he's coming back to Sakura Hall, and Jin replies that he will stay at Soichiro's place until the exams. On the way to do his presentation, Sorata receives a text message from Nanami who wished him good luck. In his presentation, Sorata relaxes himself after he recalls Chihiro's advice. As Sorata finishes his pitch, Fujisawa and his staff tell him that they will polish his game.

Back at Sakura Hall, Misaki and the gang throw a celebratory dinner for Sorata's success. After dinner, he wishes Nanami good luck, and Nanami requests him to help her with her audition. As they practice some lines, Nanami reads her confession, and Sorata over reacts. Meanwhile, Mashiro watches them from the door. Talking to her editor, Mashiro explains her strange feeling (which is jealously) to Ayano. Ayano instructs Mashiro to study up some new material to put her gloom to use. At home, Nanami freaks out during her practice when she recalls how her friend pressured her to confess to Sorata. Meanwhile, Misaki chats with Mashiro late at night.

At the company, Fujisawa asks Sorata who drew the illustration for his pitch, and in their conversation, Sorata finds out that Fujisawa and Chihiro were once classmates. Arriving to Sakura Hall, Yuko visits her older brother. When Nanami comes home, Sorata informs her that he got some things ready for her which makes Yuko suspicious about his relationship with Nanami. In Sorata's room, Sorata sets up Yuko's futon, and Mashiro comes by only in a towel. Both Sorata and Yuko freak out once Mashiro asks Sorata to blow dry her hair. The next morning, Yuko whispers to Sorata that it's Valentine's Day and that her dad wants him to choose between Nanami and Mashiro. Sorata's face is flushed, and both girls are wondering what Yuko said earlier.
