Plot Summary
Everyone is trying their hardest to get signatures for their petition. In front of the Sakura Hall, Ayano gives Sakura her manga that she has created. Meanwhile, Mashiro is painting something which she keeps a secret from her friend. Kanda receives a call from Kazuki who informs him that their game didn't make it pass the screening. The game that did make it was using Vocaloids. After the call has ended, Sorata sulks on the ground, and he receives a message from Akasaka who texted him about Nanami. Sorata spots Nanami outside in the rain. He tries to comfort Nanami, but Nanami breaks down and says that she made those excuses to pretend she is not feeling hurt inside. Sorata grabs Nanami's shoulders and tries to reason with her. Nanami talks about how she had to cut back on the activities that she could have done with her friends for fun and that these two years of sacrifices was worth nothing.

Chihiro: Are you two flirting?
In the nurse's office, Sorata helps Nanami dry herself, and when Nanami tells him not to stare at her face, Sorata accidentally says she looks cute. Then, Chihiro arrives and remarks about the two flirting. She tells Nanami to rest after she takes her temperature. After Chihiro leaves the room, Nanami asks Sorata to stay with her until she falls asleep. She asks him to speak to her, and Sorata mentions that his game hasn't pass the screening. Later that night, Sorata wakes up to find no one there, and he goes outside where Jin and the others have some success. At Sakura Hall, Sorata reads a letter that requests to see if Mashiro would work for their company. Sorata remarks how unfair the world is and that their hard work is never rewarded. It makes Mashiro leave Sorata behind.
