For fans who are new to Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (Is This a Zombie?):

Plot

High school student Ayumu Aikawa is murdered after being fatally stabbed in the back by a serial killer. Thanks to necromancer Eucliwood Hellsythe, however, he is resurrected as a zombie. Grateful to his savior, Ayumu invites her to reside with him in his house and continue his everyday life.

Trying to take advantage of his undead life by hunting for his serial killer at night, Ayumu meets a demon-hunting, chainsaw-wielding self-proclaimed "masou-shoujou" (Japanese pun on magical girl) named Haruna. After this fated encounter in which Ayumu accidentally gets cut in half and Haruna inadvertently dematerializes her clothes while trying to magically heal him, Haruna also moves in to Ayumu's residence. Zombie Ayumu's high school life is never quite the same as it used to be.

Man, I only recognize a couple names here. I hope with the VAs I don't know the dub will be refreshing. I have a feeling this is a series that will be good in dub.

• Eric Vale did Tsunenaga Tamaki (Deadman Wonderland) - He's doing the King of Night which is the only male character I respect. I expect a good voice.
• Cherami Leigh - I recognized her as Road Kamelot. She had a cute voice, so Eucliwood is in good hands.
• I don't know Austin Tindle, and I see that he did Alzack Connell. How as Alzack's dub voice in Fairy Tail?
• Seraphim, Haruna, and Tomonori's VA - I don't know them. I'm hoping their voices fit their personalities.

Hey everyone, Funimation just released a trailer for the dub. Please enjoy.

Ayumu's voice is pretty good, and Haruna's voice sounds like a high school girl with an attitude. I didn't get to hear much of Seraphim's voice.

The one thing I did not like is that they said Magical Garment Girl. It should be Masou Shoujo or Magical Girl.

Haurna's voice could have been a little better but it's sounds like the dub will be alright. I agree that "Magical Garment Girl" ruins the whole schtick. Part of the reason I found the series hilarious was when Ayumu said he was a Mahou Shoujo at the beginning of each episode. I can't believe FUNi made such a script change. Bad call.
