This ep begins with a flashback to some unknown lab, where Project Adam Experimentation #78 is happening. The scientists mumble that #78 is a failure, but then seem to get the response they want from #79. Suddenly, Adam Arclight wakes up from his nightmare next to Riru in bed and worries that his body is starting to decay, so they look for a new body for him and surprise, surprise they think Adam Blade would be a suitable match (and he happens to have a similar collar, HINT HINT). Saten tells Arclight he can handle it, but Riru instead offers to use her "Pretty Girl Squad" to capture Adam Blade, and sends a trio of them to go find the body.
Back at the church, Teruyama (a.k.a. "Uchida") tells the group that he knows of an informant named Disk who can tell them more about Arclight, so they travel to a secret passageway hidden in a sewer to make contact with him. The voice of Disk tells them to meet him at Iron Mountain, and Gido mentions that the place was a fortress that was built during the war so they should find something valuable there. After a little stretching, the gang starts walking to Iron Mountain and beating up any bandit stupid enough to stand in their way.
Cruz starts to admire Adam Blade, as he tells Eve that the guy doesn't seem to have any weaknesses. However, the very next day she tells Cruz that he has one weakness: little girls. This becomes evident when a little girl carrying a stuffed bear is attacked by thugs and Adam Blade's face turns into a slot machine before he leaps into action to save her. The rest of the group finds it odd that this pink-haired girl named Mio would simply appear out of nowhere by herself, but after playing to his sympathies Adam defends her with a lecherous look on his face.
Eventually, the group makes it to Iron Mountain with Mio tagging along. They find themselves facing old Testament models, but fight their way to the center of the mountain where the find that the mysterious Disk is actually a cyborg in the form of another little girl. Apparently, Disk was sending them to test the group's resolve.
