Imamura is a student from Fujimi High School who is a friend of Takashi.

Origin

Imamura is a high school student of Fujimi High School in Tokonosu Prefecture with a chip on his shoulder and taste for cigarettes and older women. Before the outbreak of Them ( zombies) on the school, he was a friend of Takashi Komuro and a neighbor of Alice Maresato.

The character of Imamura is a supporting character of the manga series Highschool of the Dead that was written by Daisuke Sato and illustrated by Shouji Sato. The series first began serialization in Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Dragon Age magazine in July 2006.

Her first appearance was in Hightschool of the Dead Volume 1 CH. 1 "Spring of the Dead", and his appearance in the story was removed from the anime. He is the first named character of the manga to be seen being killed, though his name wasn't learned until later in the series.

Imamura was unaware of the outbreak on Fujimi High School since he had been cutting class and sitting in a shaded area having a smoke. When he heard someone coming, he quickly moved to hide his cigarettes, but quickly recognized the person wasn't a teacher. He knew the boy, but had no idea anything was wrong. As he asked him if he also wanted a smoke, more and more of Them gathered around. Before he could run, They rushed him and killed him instantly, eating him alive.
