One boggling thing with Ilya's character baffles me...

Wondering if anyone who knows plenty on Nasuverse could answer this for me. I understand that Ilya was the Einzbern family's means of having a Holy Grail vessel and they had her take the role as Master for Berserker for the Holy Grail. Just one problem with the plan: Ilya winning the Grail War would lead her to completely lose her sense of self from being the Grail's vessel and that would technically make the Einzbern family lose their opportunity to grant their wish to the Grail. So why did the Einzberns bother having her be a Master and risk blowing their chance at having a wish made if said representative was the vessel for the Holy Grail?
