Ikuto is a headstrong, shy young boy who hates to lose and prone to nosebleeds. He ran away from home and found himself washed ashore an island where he is the only boy among many girls. He lives with Suzu and Tonkatsu.

Ikuto Touhouin is the protagonist of the Nagasarete Airantou series that was created by Takeshi Fujishiro. The series first began serialization in Square Enix's Monthly Shōnen Gangan magazine in January 2002.
His first appearance was in Nagasarete Airantou Volume 1 CH. 1 "Drifted Away", and his first anime appearance was in Nagasarete Airantou - Episode 1 "Drifted to Paradise!?". His character in the Japanese series is voiced by Hiro Shimono.
