Iku Kasahara is the main protagonist of the Toshokan Sensou (Library Wars) franchise. She is a member of the Library Task Force and was inspired to join after a librarian stood up for during a childhood incident involving a banned book.
Iku Kasahara is the main character of Toshokan Sensou. Age 22. she is first of ranked Library Clerk First Class, as the show progresses she is promoted to Library Clerk Supervisor. She joined the Library Defence Force as she was inspired by a high ranking member who saved the book she wished to buy. She joined wishing that one day the unknown person she will be able to hold them as her "ally". Iku Kasahara has a willing and strong sense for freedom and with this she has sworn her life to grade the books. It becomes a hard life in which she fights though to be able to complete and become a member of the Library Defence Force.
