Jotaro and company are sitting in the middle of the desert, holding still and keeping silent, hoping that Geb won't attack.
Considering the heat, this is a difficult task indeed. Ultimately, Polnareff gives in and starts talking. Further, this is pointless, as Geb knows where everything landed. Geb makes his way through each object on the ground, one at a time. Avdol tries to lure him out with a trick, but it fails – with both sides being slightly marked.
N'Doul then tries to drag down the truck where Joseph. As a distraction, Jotaro runs off. He finds Iggy and picks him up. Jotaro forces Iggy to help him find their attacker. Iggy forms a glider and uses it to get altitude. From here, Jotaro is able to figure out where N'Dour is. However, the reverse is also true, thanks to eco-location done by N'Dour through throwing sand up into the air.
Iggy tries to abandon Jotaro, but he counters by using Star Platinum to throw Iggy at N'Dour. This distracted N'Dour to keep him from realizing that Jotaro landed right behind him. N'Dour tries one last attack, but Jotaro manages to kick him in the chest. Rather than tell Jotaro anything about Dio, N'Dour kills himself with his own Stand.
Jotaro buries N'Dour, marking his grave with his cane. Joseph and company have fixed up the truck, and come to pick them up, allowing them to continue on their way.
